Bio

Dr. Babangida Albaba Abubakar is a Research Fellow Security Engineering, Secure and Dependable Software System (SenSe) Research Cluster. He holds MSc in Computer Systems and Network Engineering (University of Greenwich, UK) and PhD in Computer Networks (University of Brighton, UK). He is a certified CISCO academy (CCENT). He is an Associate Fellow Higher Education Academy, UK and a of member IEEE society.

He served as a part-lecturer at the School of Computing, Engineering & Mathematics, University of Brighton, UK and a lecturer Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Nigeria. He has been a module leader and teaches Introduction to Networks, Network Technologies and Network Design & Technologies modules at Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels, at the University of Brighton (from 2013 – 2016).

He is currently working on Small cEllS coordinAtion for Multi-tenancy and Edge services (SESAME), under Advanced 5G Network Infrastructure for the Future Internet Research and Innovation Action, Horizon 2020. He Published many high quality research papers in pronounce IEEE conferences and Journals. His research interest is in Computer Network Security, Network Arctecture and Design, Routing Protocols and Mobile Ad hoc Networks
